"Lilywood replaced our existing loft extension which involved changing the roof line from a hip to gable end. Chimney stacks were rebuilt. The job was very professional, the finishes were excellent for both exterior and interior. Carpentry was beautifully done and included matching the new loft stairs to the original Edwardian stairs. Workmanship to construct and fit out the end-suite was to a very high standard and we were delighted with the finished job. Can highly recommend."

"During our loft conversion we were unable to find somebody local who would match our new stairway to the original staircase. We contacted Luke, who made the journey with a new staircase loaded in his van. It matched ours exactly and he had it fitted over the course of a morning. “We discussed the project with a few companies initially who had suggested moving 2-bedroom walls and lowering ceilings on the 1st floor to accommodate stairs and achieve ceiling height. Luke was confident he could get a good result without these modifications, and we were not disappointed. The project progressed so rapidly that living during the project in winter wasn’t an issue. Communication was excellent. Like and team were essentially 100% reliable and dust and disruption were minimal. The quality of the outcome is better than we could have imagined and have recommended Lilywood to friends and family.”

There were multiple sub contractors to manage and it was all arranged independently - I was not there onsite ( I came every two weeks to consult next steps and choices). Options were clearly provided, with problem solving and leading through trade offs and benefits. When issues came with subcontractors work, accountability was taken to solve the problems and stay on track. Communication empathetic and excellent, clear and responsive. Fair costs for good work. Very accountable person who does a good job.”

“We are so impressed with our loft conversion from Lilywood. From the outset Luke explained each step of the build and started the job on time. Luke project managed every part of the conversion making it a very stress free process.

The build was completed super quick with minimum disruption. The team were efficient, friendly and tidy. Everyone turned up when they said they would and we were kept informed of each stage of the project.

The new staircase to the loft is built to a high standard with new panelling to match the original staircase, it all blends in so well with the original features of the house.

We have a new roof, guttering and windows as part of the conversion, which has really improved the whole look of the house. Luke is a conscientious manager who shows great attention to detail.

The new loft room is really well designed. There is so much natural light and space. It's the best room in the house with a very cosy feel.

We are very pleased with our new conversion and would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to transform an attic into a modern living space.”
